To Hold the Holytides: A Collection of Articles on the Anglo-Saxon Heathen Ritual Year, Its Keeping and Its Customs by Þórbeorht Ealdorblótere. 158 pages. $18. Released November 2020.
To Hold the Holytides is a collection of Théodish writings on the Anglo-Saxon heathen ritual year that explores how many pre-Christian customs were kept alive in both the seasonal celebrations of the Anglican church and in the folk traditions of the English countryside. Moreover, this work affords the contemporary reader a rare glimpse into how such ancient thews have been rekindled and put into practice by Anglo-Saxon Théodsmen today. As a companion to By the Sun, the Stars, and the Moon: Anglo-Saxon Heathen Time-keeping, this book also includes articles on how the dates for such heathen holytides as Módraniht, Éastre, Midsumor, and Winterfylleþ are determined and as well as observations on the span of Yuletide as it was held in Anglo-Saxon England.

Year-Reckoning: The 2026 Anglo-Saxon Heathen Calendar for Norþerne Middangeard (Northern Hemisphere Edition) by Eþelwynn Hlæfdiȝe. 38 pages. Wall calendar. $17. Released October 2024 and revised February 2025.
This 2026 Anglo-Saxon Heathen wall calendar for the Northern Hemisphere is based upon the Théodish Ríce’s careful reconstruction of the Anglo-Saxon Heathen lunisolar calendar that was described by the Northumbrian monk, Bede, in De Mensibus Anglorum, “The Months of the English.” Worked out for a full nineteen-year Metonic cycle, this reconstructed year-reckoning was first published on the Ealdríce’s Théod’s website sometime shortly after 2010 and later republished in 2019 by Háliggyld Books as part of Þórbeorht Hláford’s By the Sun, the Stars, and the Moon: Anglo-Saxon Heathen Time-keeping.
Eþelwynn Hlæfdige has created a convenient wall calendar for the coming year (2026 CE, the seventeenth year of the Metonic cycle) that cross-references the Anglo-Saxon calendar with the Gregorian calendar. Year-Reckoning: The 2026 Anglo-Saxon Heathen Calendar is beautifully illustrated with full color pictures of contemporary Anglo-Saxon Heathen worship and includes several pages of information on Anglo-Saxon timekeeping drawn from By the Sun, the Stars, and the Moon.
